Joe Lapchick's last victory as a coach was his dynamic victory over Villanova in March of 1965, which resulted in Coach Lapchick's fourth and final National Invitation Tournament, has recently been selected as one of the fifty memorable moments in the history of Madison Square Garden by MSG Cablevision. Author Gus Alfieri recently participated in the taping of Lapchick's show that will be aired in the winter.
